Beautiful facade project by Minera Skiffer

|

It was decided that Statnett’s new administrative building at Strinda, outside Trondheim, should have a modern design.

The choice of materials was underpinned by an emphasis on the company’s values and a desire to Project the client’s identity as a modern, dependable and timeless company. At the same time it also represents a striving to achieve the best possible harmony with the surrounding buildings.

The exterior, cled mostly with Oppdal quartzite, contributes to an expression of weight and solidity. The material chosen for the building’s communal spaces was copper – a material intended to prompt thoughts of the client’s activities.
